Let’s Develop You & Your Book Together

Using my custom framework for matching your book to its core purpose, we’ll organize and refine your ideas to reach your most impacted reader, without forcing you into someone else’s formula.
Books I’ve Worked On
Case Studies
Writing doesn’t have to be a performance.
Jessica Zou had spent years in creative spaces that required her to show up with polished thoughts, ideas, and feedback for others. When we worked together, she was able to show up without answers—sometimes, without specific questions. This ability to be unfiltered and real allowed us to meet her where she actually was, uncovering a clear next step every single time (even while writing in a second language!).
When effort isn’t the issue, structure often is.
After two years spent writing to deadlines and accountability, Domenic Chiarella still felt disconnected from his book. He had a wealth of wisdom both off the page and written into countless individual pieces, as well as a concept that writing groups had told him to go after—but none of it felt quite right. By re-centering the project around what he actually wanted from his book and for his reader, we found a structure that finally aligned with his vision and cleared a path toward his next stage of growth.
Step into new spaces with a clear vision.
Arunjay Katakam had written a book once before, on a topic he could have written about in his sleep. Generation Hope stretched him in brand new ways—not only in the writing and development, but also the ways it expanded his vision for the future and message to the world. Through collaborative development, his completed project clarified his ideas, expanded his authority, and grew his creative confidence.
(Stay tuned for book 3—another ambitious stretch into groundbreaking new spaces.)

Stages of Support
Choose Your Level of Support
Some authors need clarity. Some need structure. Some need momentum.
Some need the full editorial finish line.
This space is built for you to start from wherever you are
and be supported as far as you need.
Momentum Coaching
Accountability alone is not enough to keep a book moving from beginning to end. What we really need is momentum—a way to manage the friction of thinking, working, living, and writing so that you never stop moving toward your goals.

Core Positioning
A book is a connection point between you and your readers, and this stage defines what that connection point actually is. We’ll name what your book is truly about, who it’s for, and how it fits into your bigger vision so you can stop guessing and start moving with confidence.

Book Structuring
This is where your ideas become a comprehensive, strategic roadmap. Together, we’ll build a step-by-step writing framework so you'll always know exactly what to write next, without overwhelm or second-guessing.
-
8-12 weeks of interviews that dig into your perspective, your reader’s experience, and your vision for the book and beyond
Starting from your Core Positioning, I’ll build every layer of the book that serves your vision, from the overall arc down to individual section prompts
Between calls, you’ll review one structural layer at a time until the full system is complete, without having to worry about how it will come together on the page
Final deliverable: a color-by-numbers level writing guide you can follow (without second-guessing or overthinking) until your draft is complete and ready for editing
Comprehensive Editing
When you've taken your draft as far as you can but there are still miles to go, we can cross the finish line together. Here, deep editorial guidance and line-level changes refine your voice, strengthen your message, and elevate the entire experience that your book is intended to create.
-
A Clarity Spectrum Analysis or re-analysis to make sure the book you’ve written matches the book you’ve envisioned before we step into this final editing stage

You Can Call Me B
Hey, I’m Brannan
For 20+ years, I've seen and done it all—provided editorial support at every level, gained intensive training in narrative theory and publishing, served as ghostwriter for dozens of nonfiction books, and created a Spectrum of genres that fits each author and reader (instead of fitting *them* into industry boxes).
While every last one of those big-thinking, perspective-shifting, intention-driven authors had their own experience, needs, and outcomes, one thing held true for them all. So true, in fact, that I quit ghostwriting and committed fully to development partnerships to honor it: the process of writing changes us.
No matter our skill, our love-hate relationship with writing, or whether we even want to *be* writers, the depth of thinking, meaning, and connection that comes from developing a book is worth every second. Let's make sure those seconds are spent well.
