Stages of Support

Choose your level of support

Development is intensive, collaborative work—not the transactional editing you might be picturing at the end stages of a project.

These services are for authors who are ready to invest in themselves, their readers, and their future in a big way. If you want a faster pace or lighter touch, or if you need publishing support, contact me and I’ll put you in touch with someone in my network.

Core Positioning

A book is a connection point between you and your readers, and this stage defines what that connection point actually is. We’ll name what your book is truly about, who it’s for, and how it fits into your bigger vision so you can stop guessing and start moving with confidence.

    • Complete read of the materials you currently have (whether it’s random pieces or a finished draft)

    • A 90-minute deep-dive session to clarify your book’s purpose, reader’s experience, and the project’s role in your broader work

    • A full Clarity Spectrum analysis to articulate what kind of book you’re writing and why

    • Positioning statements for your book, your reader, and you as the author, and a thorough (usable!) next-steps plan based on those intentions

    • A custom portal, based on your Clarity Spectrum type, to hold both the positioning we name in this space and track your progress moving forward

    • Follow up calls that ensure you’re ready to integrate what we uncover

    • Optional custom bot tailored to your vision and your project so you always have a thought partner on deck

Book Structuring

This is where your ideas become a comprehensive, strategic roadmap. Together, we’ll build a step-by-step writing framework so you'll always know exactly what to write next, without overwhelm or second-guessing.

    • 8-12 weeks of interviews that dig into your perspective, your reader’s experience, and your vision for the book and beyond

    • Starting from your Core Positioning, I’ll build every layer of the book that serves yoru vision, from the overall arc down to individual section prompts

    • Between calls, you’ll review one structural layer at a time until the full system is complete, without having to worry about how it will come together

    • Final deliverable: a color-by-numbers level writing guide you can follow (without second-guessing or overthinking) until your draft is complete and ready for editing

Momentum Coaching

Accountability alone is not enough to keep a book moving from beginning to end. What we really need is momentum—a way to manage the friction of thinking, working, living, and writing so that you never stop moving toward your goals.

    • Weekly 30-minute coaching calls that meet you where you are and keep you moving forward

    • Live looks at your writing to make sure you’re on the right track

    • Ongoing guidance that keeps you from getting stuck

    • A private, living portal, based on your book’s Clarity Spectrum type, to track your progress and monitor for roadblocks

    • Mindset and bigger-vision coaching as we go

Comprehensive Editing

When you've taken your draft as far as you can but there are still miles to go, we can cross the finish line together. Here, deep editorial guidance and line-level changes refine your voice, strengthen your message, and elevate the entire experience that your book is intended to create.

    • A Clarity Spectrum Analysis or re-analysis to make sure the book you’ve written matches the book you’ve envisioned before we step into this final editing stage

    • In-line questions and prompts that advocate for the reader and ensure no stone is left unturned

    • Intensive line-level editing that brings your vision to life to a near-ghostwriting degree, careful to elevate (not override) your voice and intentions

    • Multiple reviews that allow you to respond to queries and adjust the lines with the safety net of editorial support

    • Complete coaching and on-the-page support until your book is ready for production

    DOES NOT include:

    • Actual ghostwriting of paragraphs or more

    • Copyediting

    • Proofreading
